چکیده

In the title compound, C(3)H(5)N(2)S(+)·H(2)PO(4) (-), the dihydrogen phosphate anions form infinite chains along [001] via short O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The 2-amino-thia-zolium cations inter-connect these chains into a three-dimensional network by short linear or bifurcated N-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

2-Amino-1,3-benzothiazol-3-ium dihydrogen phosphate

The cation of the title compound, C(7)H(7)N(2)S(+)·H(2)PO(4) (-), is almost planar (r.m.s deviation = 0.017 Å for all non-H atoms). In the crystal structure, the cations and anions are connected by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, with π-π stacking inter-actions between neighbouring 1,3-thia-zole and benzene rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.5711 (11) Å], forming a three-dimensional network.

Tris(2-amino-1,3-thiazolium) hydrogen sulfate sulfate monohydrate

The centrosymmetric crystal structure of the novel semi-organic compound, 3C(3)H(5)N(2)S(+)·HSO(4) (-)·SO(4) (2-)·H(2)O, is based on chains of alternating anions and water mol-ecules (formed by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds). The chains are inter-connected with the 2-amino-1,3-thia-zolium cations via strong N-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions into a three-dimensional network.

2-Ureido-1,3-thiazol-3-ium dihydrogen phosphate

The title compound, C(4)H(6)N(3)OS(+)·H(2)PO(4) (-), (I), was obtained as a result of hydrolysis of [(1,3-thia-zol-2-yl-amino)-carbon-yl]-phospho-ramidic acid, (II), in water. X-ray analysis has shown that the N-P bond in (II) breaks, leading to the formation of the substituted carbamide (I). This compound exists as an inter-nal salt. The unit cell consists of a urea cation and an anion of H(2)...

2-Amino-4-methylpyrimidinium dihydrogen phosphate

A charge-assisted hydrogen-bonding network involving N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds stabilizes the crystal of the title salt, C5H8N3 (+)·H2PO4 (-). The dihydrogen phosphate anions form one-dimensional chains along [100], via O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The 2-amino-4-methyl-pyrimidinium cations are linked to these chains by means of two different kinds of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Neighbouring chains are ...

Investigation of structural mimetics of natural phosphate ion binding motifs.

Phosphates are ubiquitous in biology and nearly half of all proteins interact with their partners by means of recognition of phosphate residues. Therefore, a better understanding of the phosphate ion binding by peptidic structures is highly desirable. Two new receptors have been designed and synthesized and their anion binding properties in an acetonitrile solution have been determined. The str...
